Greenhouse FAQ
Can I visit the greenhouse?
Our greenhouses are currently closed to the public. We will be welcoming visitors to our tulip field again in spring 2025.
Can I purchase your tropical plants?
Our plants are wholesale only. Email drew@berkelbloem.ca for wholesale inquires.
U-Pick Tulip Field FAQ
When will the tulip fields open to the public?
The fields will be ready in May 2024. There will be about a 3-week window for picking tulips. Watch our Instagram and Facebook pages for our opening day.
Do I need to purchase a ticket beforehand, or can I purchase at the time I arrive?
All tickets need to be purchased prior to attending. There will be limited tickets sold for each day we are open.
Are tickets refundable?
Tickets are not refundable but can be exchanged for weekday availability. Preferred dates for rescheduling are not guaranteed for weekends.
Are there group rates available?
Yes, if you have a large group of 20 attendees or more, please email melanie@berkelbloem.ca.
Can I go on a sold-out day?
Unfortunately, no. Please check the website for updated availability.
What is your weather policy?
The tulip field is open rain or shine. Please keep in mind that tickets are not refundable, so please keep the weather forecast in mind.
What should I wear?
Our tulip field is located on our farm. Depending on weather, the parking lot and field could be very muddy. Watch the weather forecast and plan accordingly.
Is there parking?
Yes, parking is free and on-site.
Is the field accessible?
The farm is mostly accessible. There are some wider paths that will accommodate wheelchairs, wagons, and strollers, but please keep in mind the paths are uneven.
Are pets allowed?
Sorry, only service animals are allowed on the farm.
Is there food available?
We plan to have a food truck on-site on weekends. Attendees are encouraged to bring a picnic to enjoy on the farm during their visit.
Can we pull up the bulb along with the flower?
This is highly discouraged. If you are interested in purchases tulip bulbs, stay tuned for updates on sales after our field is closed for the season.
Photography FAQ
Is photography allowed?
Photography and video recording is highly encouraged! Unfortunately, drones are not permitted on the farm. Don’t forget to tag us on Instagram @berkelbloem
Do you have photographers available?
We do not have a designated photographer on site but will share updates on our Instagram and Facebook pages if local photographers are booking mini photoshoots at our tulip field.
Can we use your field as a professional photography location?
